Whilst cleaning the car yesterday i had the roof in the mid way position and after a few mins the roof fell back a few inches.

My thinking is to go through the procedure in the driveway.
According to vw repair the only issues they had with this problem are some of the vw golf models and never the eos.
The emergency release for the trunk used to work but now i don t have that to use.

I believe that the module motor needs to be replaced but someone told me it could be the hydraulic pump.
Their findings were that the gear shift mechanism codes had to be reset.

Manual operation of vw eos sunroof in case of failure.
Codes were reset and now i am hesitant to drive vehicle on long distances in case this occurs again.
Chechked all related fuses and all are well.
This would get the trunk to open to store the convertible roof and get the windows to go up as well.
Make sure any tools or keys are always stored in the trunk discover if you yeally do need two people to lift or raise manually and to put into plain english vw descriptive terms like.
